Sustainability
At Vico Robes we care about the planet and want to play our part in protecting it by doing everything in our power to reduce, reuse and recycle. All the fabrics in our Changing Robes are made from recycled and regenerate materials such as plastic bottles and bags. The outer shell is treated with PFC-free water resistant coating. Our soft microfibre poncho robes are also made from regenerated materials. These plastic products known as PET (polyethylene terephthalate) products are collected, sorted and recycled. Using this kind of technology to recycle waste is a huge step forward to a greener, safer and cleaner planet.
Our products carry the GRS Global Recycled Standard certification which is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labeling.
The garments also CE certified indicating conformity with health, safety and environmental protection standards for products sold within the EEA
Most organic clothing manufacturers these days use low-impact dyes, which can also be referred to as azo-free or fiber-reactive dyes. Vico Robes are certified Azo - free. They are also Oeko-Tex 100 certified meaning they do not contain any toxic or allergic substances.
Our postal packaging is 100% recyclable.
Moreover all our products are designed to be highly durable so that you probably will only ever need one . And in the unlikely event you do want to dispose of your item you can rest assured that all our materials are 100% recyclable.
